One day, a farmer was driving back to his house from the town. He saw a snake that was so cold it was almost frozen. He carried it home in his basket out of compassion for it. His children gathered around it as he placed it there near the fire. It started to move around after a few minutes. It suddenly charged at one of them. But before it could bite, the farmer killed it with his stick.
