Story the Shepherd and the Wolf for 7th class
There was a young shepherd boy who lived nearby a village. He used to graze sheep in a jungle daily. One day, he thought of having fun with the villagers. Then he cried ‘‘Wolf’’ ‘‘Wolf’’ loudly. Some villagers run for his help with sticks and when they reached the jungle, there was no wolf. The boy began to laugh and the villagers returned back after cursing him. He repeated the joke after a few days. The villagers went to help the boy, they saw no wolf was there. The villager became very angry. One day, a wolf really came there. The shepherd was afraid and cried ‘‘Wolf’’ ‘‘Wolf’’ but in vain. Nobody came to help of a boy. Wolf killed the boy and ate many sheep.
Moral: – Once a liar, always a liar.
